Trainings and Workshops

Trainings & Workshops

Our training courses are just as important as the products themselves. We regularly offer training courses on site or online for the correct use of our rescue and abseiling devices. We design the training courses individually for the respective application so that every move is trained under realistic conditions. Only those who practice regularly can act effectively and save lives in an emergency.

  • User training: For people who work at heights or at depths (this training is mandatory according to the PPE ordinance). Available as basic training and refresh training.
  • Inspection, maintenance and service: Our products must (like all PPE) – be checked once a year by a skilled person. If the rescue device has to be opened in the course of this inspection, training and a corresponding, valid certificate from MARK Save A Life are required in any case. This training is available for users or trainers (service partners).

More information on the training courses and prices are available on the
MARK Save A Life Knowledge Base. We kindly ask you to secure appointments as soon as possible, as many training time slots have already been booked and we want to guarantee timely processing. Request a training date now: m.fuxjaeger@savealife.at.

News MARK Secure

MARK Secure

With MARK Secure we are able to complete our range of anchor points and revolutionize the market. MARK Secure offers 100% accountability when securing people in terrains where the anchor point cannot be mounted on a solid construction surface. It can be used on drywall, cladding and suspended ceilings (plasterboard, acoustic panels, mineral fiber and more), as well as on wood and reinforced concrete components.

This anchor point is your solution in situations like these: securing construction sites or doing maintenance work on buildings (facility management), doing maintenance and cleaning work on glazing areas with great heights, securing over the floor ceiling levels during a construction phase, working on roofs or on window reveals.

MARK Descent

Our abseiling device with increased abseiling speed is especially suitable for high ropes courses. It transports single persons in shuttle traffic with an operational load of up to 150 kg, convinces with a rappelling speed of 1.9 m/s and is available with a rope length of up to 300 m. The optional weather protection hood makes the device even safer for outdoor use. We were able to make our popular MARK Descent more compact in terms of components, so that it offers even more safety and ease of maintenance. All information and data sheets, as well as prices, are available on the MARK Save A Life Knowledge Base and can be downloaded.

The new EN 1496:2017 has been puplished.  The new standard specifies requirements, test methods, marking and information supplied by the manufacturer for rescue lifting devices.

Rescue lifting devices conforming to this new standard are used as components of rescue systems. They may be combined with other components, e.g. descender devices for rescue (EN 341) or retractable type fall arresters (EN 360).
